Promoting co-existence between people and birds

This online tool enables land-managers to estimate the distances at which Australian birds fearfully respond to humans, a process known as ‘disturbance’. This information can be used to construct buffer zones around bird habitat or develop codes of conduct to permit coexistence between people and birds in natural areas.
